Back to School

Where did the summer go? It seemed to come and go so quickly that I can hardly believe we are beginning our second school year. Today was "Back to School Day," for our daughter while it's our son's first year of preschool. We are using Sonlight as our curriculum as we were so pleased with it last year. I also picked up some Character training materials for our 4 year old that I will use for us all. I do pray God will bless this school year as we seek to serve him in our learning. Our daughter is very interested in animals and nature and we are watching ladybug larvae and how it progresses to actually lady bugs as part of her science experience. Before long we will begin participating in our local homeschool co-op again and we are looking forward to reuniting with those friends we haven't seen much this summer. Our son had his tonsils removed and will resume soccer practice later this week while our daughter anxiously awaits the return of dance classes in September. Ready or not...here we go!
