Today I was encouraging my daughter as she was completing a math assignment. Although she knows her numbers, as a lefty she is frequently tempted to write some of them backwards. Today is one of the saddest days. A family in our church are experiencing devastating loss as they mourn the death of their 3 month old son. Our family attended the visitation today and I am left numb with grief for this sweet baby's parents, family and friends. I am also thankful though. 

I am thankful that they are believers in God. She went peacefully as all of her faith was in her Savior to guide her home. Less than a quarter mile down the road, I heard a whimper in the back seat and looked in the rear view to see Abigail's lunch come up and out all over her and the car seat. Yesterday we were able to order some items for the baby's room and the more prepared we become the more the reality sets in that our little boy will be here soon.Now if I can just put this preparation into practice in the every day details!
